Guard of the day
Guard for a Day
1. When was A428 built? In 1909.
2. What took over from steam trains and when? Diesels took over from the steam trains in 1970.
3. Why did these type of trains take over? Because they were much more powerful and could pull longer and heavier loads.
4. What happened to A428? It was lucky.
5. Why do you think Kristina helps on the train? Because she a guard.
